BUSHARA ISLAND CAMP
The camp is located on Lake Bunyonyi in western Uganda and it is a brief stop for the tourists on their way to see Mountain Gorillas or from seeing the Gorillas.
Accommodation
The Camp offers a wide range of safari tents, cottages, and group sites to meet the needs of the lone traveler, couples, groups, and families. All safari tents and cottages are self-contained and offer privacy and a beautiful view of the lake. The camp has Luxury Safari Tents which are furnished with 1 Queen Bed or 2 doubles or 2 singles and generally sleep one to four people. There is also Dove and Pitta Cottages with 1 Queen Bed and 1 single and each has its own private patio overlooking the lake. The Kingfisher Cottage is the largest family-size cottage, with 2 bedrooms. It can comfortably accommodate families or groups of 4-6. Whydah Tree house which is the newest and is the first wooden cottage on the island. It has 2 double beds and 1 single bed.
There are also Group Camp Sites for individuals or groups wishing to pitch their own tents, each with plenty of privacy and individual services. These sites are equipped with showers and latrines and offer beautiful surroundings and excellent views.
